A hard time was once had years ago, but not life after divorce for women has been changed for the better. More are realizing they can continue with the things they want to achieve without having a husband by their side. In most cases moving on to a new person is the last thing anyone newly divorced would want to do. Instead this time is better spent learning to do something that marriage for whatever reason may have held them back from. This could be learning to be more independent by going back into studying, learning to drive or getting a social life.
If for years it was only the people within the immediate family that were associated with. The feel of being alone for the rest of life is playing heavy on the mind, rest assured that this is a common feeling and women over the years have created ways to support each other through this difficult time.
Not everyone is able to make friends as easy, but the internet has opened up new ways for getting to know someone with the option of meeting at a later date or planned function if that is desired. Others will be going through similar situations and knowing that can be a godsend.
Children could make the separation easier or harder depending on the nature of the split. Grieving and still providing support for them too brings different trials.
